My Journey in Detailing

 

My love for vehicles started young. I spent weekends washing my first car—a hand-me-down 1980 V8 Ford Thunderbird in a unique shade of red—from my brother back in 1993. By 1995, I upgraded to a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am, where I truly learned to appreciate the beauty and thrill of a well-maintained ride. There’s nothing quite like the experience of a functional Shaker Hood Scoop!

 

Over the years, my hobby turned into a profession. I operated a mobile detailing business in Louisville for a decade and have certifications from some of the top detailing schools: Right Look Auto Detailing in San Diego (2000), Meguiar's Detailing Master Technician Course in Irvine (2002), and Renny Doyle's Advanced Detailer Training in Big Bear (2008). I'm also proud to be a member of the International Detailing Association (IDA).

While I have an extensive background in detailed auto care, these days I prefer to keep things straightforward and stress-free. My services now focus on premium mobile washes, with the option to add extras if desired. This approach allows me to provide quality service without the complexities of full detailing, which I've found can turn a passion into a chore due to my meticulous nature.

A true automotive detailer is highly skilled in managing automotive finishes, including paint correction, polishing, buffing, color sanding, and the application of ceramic coatings, along with upholstery and leather repair, steam cleaning, wheel repair, and paintless dent repair.

Most of my clients prefer their vehicles to be clean and shiny without the need for intricate detailing like paste waxes or multi-level polishing. My simplified service fits perfectly for those who want their vehicle to look great without the extras.

Absolutely! I come to your preferred location as per our scheduled appointment.

 

Do you have your own water and power supply?

 

I can usually supply water for scheduled appointments but will always need access to electricity.

An exterior wash typically takes about an hour to a hour and a half.
